Alessio Picariello was tipped by many to enjoy a highly successful motorsports career from a young age following a record-breaking year in the 2013 ADAC Formel Masters. A lack of funds prevented him from progressing up the European single-seater ladder, but the Belgian’s talents haven’t gone unrecognised and he was invited to drive in Formula China Masters and MRF Challenge in 2015, his performance in these earned him a seat in the 2016 Audi R8 LMS Cup in China. Since then he has received much praise and in August 2016 he made his debut in the Blancpain GT Series in Hungary.
